Hi, I'm Bobbi!

Born in Cleveland, I have been in tune to the pulse of the city my entire life.  I see life in angles, lighting and lines of perspectives. Each and every day is full of beautiful moments and images when your heart is open. I feel so lucky that I get to live creatively and push the scope of my experience.  My career has taken me all over the United States and I have shot weddings coast to coast.  There is nothing more rewarding than giving our clients lifelong memories that capture the individual beauty  hey bring to the world.  I would love to capture your story and take this journey with you.

What do you do outside of photography?

Not much! Kidding... Kinda.

I’m definitely married to my job and my life is generally pretty focused on making sure my clients are high on my priority list. I attend a variety of training seminars several times each year for continuing education on how to bring you the best photography possible. I love traveling for business but also shooting scenery in the cool places I visit. I’m also an outdoor & adventure enthusiast that loves hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, river walking, and going for long walks through the Metroparks with my dog, Bronson, who is pretty much the best thing ever. While I am a coffee fanatic and foodie, I also had an amazing weight loss journey and I have lost around 100lbs. I love being active and cooking at home but I would rather do fun lifestyle activities than hang out at the gym.  At the end of my weight loss journey, I was able to give someone close to me a kidney and completed transplant in November of 2019.   I am an advocate for organ donation, community involvement and believe in "snapping it forward" to help area organizations be successful. I partner with several organizations throughout the year to donate photography and design services with a particular focus on animal rescue and suicide prevention organizations.

What's the studio like?

Pretty awesome!  We have a 2000+ square foot space located at 139 Bell Street Suite 302 in downtown Chagrin Falls. Our studio shooting area caters to our boudoir clients with lofty bedroom setups and multiple shooting atmospheres to give you luxury results in a comfortable atmosphere as well as our commercial head shot clients who need solid scenery to put their best foot forward. We also have a large consultation area where we showcase session photography in gallery reveal meetings on our 4k viewing screen. The consultation area is the ideal meeting spot to hang out with our wedding inquiries and is where we hold most of our bridal meetings. The studio allows us to have intimate meeting space away from the noise of public settings and where we can easily show you the resulting albums and enlargements of what your photography will look like with my team. Our studio hours are built around the needs of our clients as we are always on the go shooting in beautiful places around northeast Ohio. We most commonly hold meetings and studio sessions between 9am and 6:30pm Monday through Friday although we can accommodate your schedule as needed.

Do you rent out your studio for weddings or to other photographers?

Frequently for BOTH!  Our boudoir "move in" area also doubles as a bridal suite for our clients as they're getting ready.  My studio stylist does an incredible job on hair and makeup for our bridal parties and our bridal suite can comfortably accommodate gatherings up to 12-14 as needed.  The studio has several rooms to move around as needed and have multiple stylists working on hair and makeup, a refrigerator to store drinks and snacks, a water cooler with disposable cups, restroom, and is very handicapped accessible with a ramp leading to the main areas.  The studio is complimentary for our booked brides to use on their big day.  For brides with other photographers needing a home or photographers needing a place to house your sessions, please contact me for rates and availability!

Check out the slideshow above to see how the indoor and outdoor areas have been used for prior weddings!

How long have you been in business? How long have you been shooting weddings?

Sometimes it’s hard to remember that there was ever a time when I wasn’t doing this!  I have been shooting since 2005 and started my business in 2012.  The first wedding I shot was in 2009 and it was love at first love.  On average, I shoot 30-40+ weddings per year and work with hundreds of clients for session photography.

Are you a full-time photographer or is this a part-time gig?

I am happily a full time photographer. Fortunately my work is doing something I absolutely love and I take much pride in the images my studio produces and in the relationships my team has with our clients.

What do you consider to be your specialty?

Primarily anything in the senior portrait range and up in age is where I feel like my style truly shines.  Our weddings, engagements, and boudoir packages account for 80% of my business and (if I had to pick), I would consider that my specialty with senior portraits and business/commercial head shots in a very close second place. While I do still work with growing families, children, maternity, newborns, etc- I prefer to do those types of sessions on-site in natural settings that bring out the personality of the people in the pictures rather than in the studio.

Do you ever teach or give workshops?

Yes and yes!  I've proudly been a speaker and educator at multiple photography conferences in Ohio and beyond.  Additionally, I offer classes in both small group settings and on a one-on-one basis.  If you are looking to get to know camera basics better and how to use your DSLR camera, I would recommend a one-on-one class to give you individual training on your gear.  Classes for lighting, posing, and post-production are great for small groups.  I will also host photo walks several times each year, often on a donation basis to benefit an area organization.  For pricing, availability, and current options for what we have going on, click here to reach out!
